We don't do fast food here!

David and Karen look forward to welcoming you for a meal at the Kinlochewe Hotel, where the emphasis is on simplicity and flavour, using high quality local produce, freshly cooked just for you. Our home-cooked food uses the very best of seasonal ingredients from local suppliers to produce a simple, tasty meal.

We do not serve "fast food" here! As members of Slow Food UK we do our best to source the finest food, fresh and sustainably produced ingredients and then take time to carefully prepare your meal. So sit back and relax - you are in the beautiful Highlands of Scotland - we don't rush anything here ...... Life is just too good!

Our prime cuts of local Ross-shire meat and game are supplied by Kenneth Morrison Butchers in Gairloch; the clear waters of Loch Torridon provide our creel caught langoustines and lobsters; fresh salmon comes from the sustainable Loch Duart fish farms in Sutherland. Loch Torridon Smokehouse in Shieldaig and Isle of Ewe Smokehouse in Aultbea supply our smoked fish.

Every week, Alfie brings us the pick of the catch from local fishermen. What we serve depends on what he brings ... wild sea bass, line caught wild sea bream, haddock, herring, halibut, scallops, oysters, mussels and much more!

For those with a sweet tooth we have a selection of homemade puds: our renowned frozen heather honey and malt whisky cream and secret recipe Sticky Toffee pudding; rich chocolate brownie and much more ... just some of the tempting delights on offer.

Our breakfasts are just the thing to set you up for whatever you have planned for your day. From our own homemade muesli, fruit juice, yoghurt, fruit compote and cereals to our full, freshly cooked West Highlander breakfast consisting of bacon, sausage, black pudding, eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes and beans, you can start the day with a hearty meal.

Our cafe bar is open from 12 noon (12.30 on Sunday) and you can enjoy freshly prepared Italian coffees and a variety of refreshing teas, cakes and snacks.

Lunches, served between 12.00 (12.30 on Sunday) and 3.00pm, offer a bowl of homemade soup, venison casserole or beef stew and freshly made rolls filled with a choice of quality fillings and fresh salad leaves.

Evening meals are served in the Beinn Eighe Bar but they are not typical bar food! We aim to bring something different to the meals we serve - high quality food at reasonable prices. Evening meals are served between 6.30 and 8.30pm and booking is highly recommended particularly at busy times of the year..

We think it is important that everybody is able to enjoy a meal at Kinlochewe Hotel therefore we are pleased to work that little bit harder to cater for different dietary requirements. We always have vegetarian dishes on our menu; our soups are generally vegan; we only use cornflour to thicken so our casseroles are suitable for coeliacs and we keep gluten free bread and baking in stock. Other diets are catered for on request. To ensure you have an enjoyable meal please notify us of any dietary requirements when booking.
